1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of Custom War Minis, including the app, website, generated output, credits, subscriptions, and related services. By using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally able to enter this agreement and meet the age requirements of your location and the app marketplace through which you obtained Custom War Minis. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.
3. Your submissions
You retain whatever rights you hold in images and other material you submit. You grant us and our service providers a limited license to process, transmit, transform, and temporarily store that material only as needed to operate, secure, and support the service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions required to submit it.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to violate law or another person's rights; create illegal weapons or prohibited items; submit exploitative, hateful, or unlawful content; interfere with the service; bypass credits, ranks, or security controls; distribute malware; or use automated means that impose unreasonable load.
5. Generated models and printing
Custom War Minis provides generated digital model files, not finished physical objects, printer profiles, manufacturing services, engineering validation, or a guarantee of print success. Printers, slicers, materials, calibration, scale, orientation, supports, and settings vary. A file that previews correctly may still be incomplete, inaccurate, non-manifold, fragile, incorrectly scaled, incompatible with a particular setup, or unable to slice or print successfully.
Before printing, you are responsible for inspecting and, when necessary, repairing the file; confirming scale, wall thickness, clearances, orientation, supports, and the complete slice preview; choosing compatible equipment, materials, and settings; following manufacturer safety instructions; and supervising printer operation. You are also responsible for intellectual-property clearance and for how you use or distribute the output.
Generated output is intended for creative and tabletop use. It is not designed, tested, or certified for medical, protective, food-contact, structural, load-bearing, electrical, automotive, functional weapon-component, or other safety-critical uses. Do not rely on generated output for one of those purposes without independent review, testing, and approval by an appropriately qualified professional.
6. Credits, ranks, and purchases
A geometry forge normally consumes one credit when the server accepts the job. A Reforge also consumes one credit when accepted; it applies one written instruction to every required captured view and includes the initial edited result plus up to two Recasts for each view in that Reforge session, for three generated versions total per view. Starting another full Reforge is another credit and creates another numbered set. Recasts are use-it-or-lose-it within that paid set: accepting a new Recast replaces the prior result for that view even if the new attempt fails. The Original and every paid Reforge set are saved with the device-local Artifact Dossier when geometry is committed. Failed initial batches are eligible for the server's automatic credit return; an unsuccessful included Recast does not consume another credit.
Ranks may change queue timing, capture options, included credits, and simultaneous-job limits. Prices, benefits, and renewal terms are shown in the App Store or Google Play purchase flow. The billing store processes purchases and refunds under its terms. When a store approves a refund or revokes a purchase, the credits granted by that transaction are removed. Your visible balance will not become negative; any portion already used becomes an offset applied to future credit grants. If the store reverses that refund, the corresponding offset is removed and the net credits are restored. Except where law or store rules require otherwise, consumed credits and completed digital services are not refundable. Deleting a Custom War Minis account does not cancel a store subscription; you must manage or cancel it separately through the store that billed you.
7. Service changes and availability
The Forge depends on network, cloud, generation, and app-marketplace services. We may change models, limits, features, ranks, pricing, or availability and may suspend the service for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted service or permanent remote recovery of files.
8. Our property
The app, website, branding, interface, software, and service design are owned by BaristaLabs, LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms do not grant permission to copy, reverse engineer, resell, or misuse those materials except where applicable law permits.
9. Third-party services
The service may link to or work with Apple, Google, Cloudflare, Fal, MakerWorld, slicers, printers, and sharing destinations. Their products and terms are separate from ours, and we are not responsible for their services or your use of them.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service and generated output are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that output will be error-free, an exact reconstruction, compatible with a particular printer, slicer, material, or profile, structurally sound, safe or suitable for a particular use, or capable of producing a successful physical print. We disclaim implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Nothing here excludes a warranty, right, or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BaristaLabs, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost files, profits, data, goodwill, business interruption, failed prints, wasted materials, printer damage, or loss arising from the printing, handling, or use of generated output. Our aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for it during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Limits that are unlawful in your jurisdiction—including limits on liability that cannot legally be waived—do not apply.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a Terms violation, security threat, legal requirement, abuse, or risk to the service or others. Provisions that should logically survive termination will survive.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. The revised version will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
